Family Owned

     I appreciated this week’s lesson material on working alongside family members.  My brother and I have always been very close and often discuss starting a business together.  The material covered this week was very helpful in understanding some initial steps in effectively organizing the company so it is run properly and not in a personal manner.  In doing so it will be more advantageous to all parties involved. 

     It was also interesting to learn about the pros and cons of purchasing an existing business.  Also, I enjoyed the assignment where we were able to find a business for sale and do research on it.  It was productive to see what is out there and what it would take to obtain a business.  Also, what would it take to instill your own ideas into it and make it more productive than already is.  It was a noteworthy project.

      Been trying to find more customers for my $100 challenge.  I have already met the challenge but I would like to continue to see how far I can go with it.  We also have an assignment to make a video this week to promote the product, which I have been working on some.  I am looking forward to see how that materializes in the coming days.
